Founded by John Sutton in 1806, Suttons is an internationally renowned supplier of seeds and other horticultural products. Originally located on Market Place, Reading, the business concentrated
on growing and supplying corn. In 1840, the company established a laboratory to test its seeds for germination and purity – a practice that became law 80 years later! Royal patronage was received in 1858 from Queen Victoria and the Royal Warrant has been bestowed on the firm ever since.

Jane Sutton is a 5th generation descendant of the founder, John Sutton.
