Commissioned into the Royal Artillery, Colin served in the British Army throughout the world for 37 years, attaining the rank of Brigadier. For the last eight years he was a Director in the ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.

As a proud Jerseyman, with family ties going back to the 13th Century, he will provide an overview of Jersey’s history and significance, alongside other interesting facts and anecdotes. And yes, he will cover: Jersey potatoes & cows, the German Occupation, as well as Bergerac who gained his ‘spurs’ as a detective in Jersey, before moving to Midsomer!

Hope to see you at this event – as they would say in Jersey French (Jèrrais), “À tantôt.”
